Chiari has taught me that even though my body is falling apart and the future is unclear,my faith in the Lord has strengthened. For He is
much greater and stronger than brain surgery.
Oh gosh, I don't know. Pull from any of my posts if there is anything there. Chiari was an awakening for me. It's a monster with pointy teeth but less scary when understood. It's a secret and a conundrum. My zipper is a brand, my zipper gives me pride, my sipper shows I have come through it all. My zipper is a tangible reminder of something that was so hidden.
Chiari has made me definatly reclaim life. Chiari has shown me that fear is huge but fear is managebale. Chiari has taught me I am more than the sum of my parts.
My diagnosis has changed my life, but it cannot change who I am inside.
All of you zipper people are so brave and beautiful.
Chiari has changed my life but I will not let this define who I am. I am not a throbbing headache, back pain, swallowing disorder, or a body filled with pain. I am someone who is lucky to be loved by a wonderful, understanding man and has found a new strengthened relationship with God. The rest is just chump change in this journey called life.
